We're excited to announce the signing of Gee Baltazar from NPL Premier Division side Bamber Bridge.

The 26-year-old Lisbon-born versatile attacker gained his Academy education at Newcastle United and Sunderland then carved out a successful non-league career at a number of prominent North-East clubs, followed by a spell as a professional with Gibraltar Premier League club Mons Calpe, before returning to England and most recently Mossley, for whom he appeared 74 times in the NPL.

Manager Lee Rick told us, "Gee was a target for us right from the beginning, but he had an opportunity to play at Step 3 that he wanted to pursue.

With great experience and plenty of quality, he will be an important addition to the squad but also off the pitch his character and personality will be invaluable to the group.

Gee is the type of player who can get fans off their seats. His exciting style of play and energy are sure to make him a firm fans’ favourite."

Gee is available for tomorrow's trip to Brocton.

In other squad news, Brandon Dawson, Jacques Etia and Conal Gallagher have left West. Brandon has since signed for NWCFL Premier Division club Burscough. All three players leave with our thanks and best wishes.
