West this Weekend
Your West Weekend - 31 October / 1 November
West Men vs Prestwich Heys, 3pm Saturday
West Women vs Mossley Hill, 2pm Sunday
A full weekend of action at Brookburn Road awaits, with cup action for both our senior teams in store.
After our midweek fixture was postponed, our Men's team make their FA Vase bow for the season with the visit of Prestwich Heys. A name familiar from our NWCFL days, they've been in strong league form and will prove a tough test as we look to make it a fifth consecutive season of reaching the third round of the competition.
On Sunday, West Women take to the turf against Mossley Hill Athletic in the League Cup. Although they play lower down the pyramid, every team can see this competition as a chance to win silverware. It is the last chance to pick up one of our free Nell's Pizza vouchers too, an added bonus for your support.

Our 2nd Round opponents are Prestwich Heys, familiar foes from the last four North West Counties Football League (NWCFL) seasons, before our lateral move to the Midland Football League. They currently sit midtable in the NWCFL, having finished two places above us in seventh last season.

We turn our attention away from the league, welcoming Mossley Hill Athletic to Brookburn Road for the first round of the League Cup sponsored by Macron, and looking to bounce back from defeat to Preston North End last time out.
