We're excited to announce the signing of forward Oumar Camara on dual-registration from Padiham.

The 28-year-old has an outstanding record in the NWCFL Premier Division in recent seasons, netting 40 goals from 78 starts at Ramsbottom United, Avro and Prestwich Heys.

Last season he fired in 15 goals from 27 starts in spells at Mossley and Stockport Town, including 10 goals for the Lilywhites in the NPL West.

Manager Lee Rick told us, "He’s someone I tried to bring in during the summer, but at the time he had several options at Step 4 and wanted to play another season at that level.

Oumar is a player who leads the line, has an excellent work rate and is a proven goalscorer. There was plenty of interest in him, so I’m thrilled he’s chosen West."

We're also delighted to have completed the signing of centre-back Oliver Kilner.

The 22-year-old, who can also play in midfield, came through the ranks at Manchester United before representing Oldham Athletic, Bury and most recently Flint Town United.

Oumar and Ollie are both available for tomorrow's trip to Lye Town.
