By tram
Chorlton tram stop, on the Airport and East Didsbury lines, is about a mile from our main entrance. Barlow Moor Road is less than a mile from the Hardy Farm entrance, at the opposite corner of the ground. Sale Water Park is also less than a mile away, but the walk goes through the woods and over uneven ground, so avoid it if you have mobility issues. Coming from further afield? You can pick up the tram from any of Manchester's city centre train stations.
Check live departures from Chorlton and Barlow Moor Road, or find out more about travelling by tram on the TfGM website.
By bus
Chorlton Bus Station is the closest public transport hub to the ground, a nine minute walk from our main entrance. The 85 and 86 run there from Piccadilly Gardens, the 23 runs between Stockport and the Trafford Centre, and the 25, 87 and 172 also stop there. Routes and times can change, so check live departures from Chorlton Bus Station or plan your trip with TfGM's journey planner.
By bike
We're next to the River Mersey and Sale Ees, and a few minutes from the Fallowfield Loop, a traffic-free path across south Manchester built on an old railway line. Lock up at the secure racks behind the clubhouse, or ask at the bar if you can't find them. Find out more about the Fallowfield Loop and cycling in Greater Manchester.
By car
Where you can, please walk, cycle or use public transport. If you're driving, park for free at Hardy Farm, M21 8DP. On the approach, go past the junction where two exits are for trams only, then follow the West Didsbury & Chorlton sign along the winding road to the car park. Go through the gate towards Hardy Farm, turn right onto the path and follow it round to the Hardy Farm entrance. It's a flat walk of about 10 minutes.
There's also public parking on Chorlton Ees, opposite The Bowling Green pub (M21 9ES), and the pub is letting supporters use its car park. Please don't park on Brookburn Road or anywhere in Chorltonville. These are private roads for residents, and there's no supporter parking at the ground. Get directions to Hardy Farm car park in Google Maps.
Accessible travel
Anyone with an accessibility need can book a parking space next to our main entrance, where there's a smooth path into the ground. You don't need a blue badge or any proof of disability, just email ollie@wdcfc.co.uk before the game. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before kick-off (let us know if that's not possible), and wait until 15 minutes after the final whistle before driving away, so everyone leaving on foot can do so safely. We can also try to arrange drop-offs at the main entrance, and both entrances are step-free.
For seating, facilities and more, read our Accessibility Guide. If you're coming by tram, Metrolink's guide to accessible tram travel has more on getting around by tram.
