Bonfire Night information

If you have purchased tickets to our bonfire night this Sunday, 8th November, here's some important information you need to know ahead of the event. If you do not have tickets, please do not travel to the ground. We are completely sold out, and there will be no ability to pay on the gate.

Timings
Gates open at 5.30pm 
The bonfire will be lit at 5.45pm
The event will begin to close at 9pm

Please note: there is no parking at the ground. 
There is no parking on Brookburn Road or the surrounding Chorltonville estate, which are private roads for residents only. We'd strongly recommend walking, cycling or taking public transport, as the ground is easily accessible by these modes of transport. If you have no option but to drive, please be aware that local roads will be very busy, and it may take some time to find a parking spot.

The nearest tram stop is Chorlton Metrolink, about a 10/15 minute walk away on the East Didsbury and Manchester Airport lines. Barlow Moor Road is a similar distance. 

If you'd rather go by bus, Chorlton Bus Station is a nine minute walk from the main entrance, with the 85 and 86 running from Piccadilly Gardens and the 23, 25, 87 and 172 also stopping there. Routes and times can change, so it's worth checking TfGM before you travel. If you're cycling, there are secure bike racks behind the clubhouse.

There will be food, drink and entertainment across the ground over the course of the evening, with our usual vendors providing refreshments of all varieties until the event closes.
